you know. pogs. those little cardboard things from the 90s everyone used to trade and play with.
remember the things you used to hit them with?
slammers?
ulterior motivcs time.
check it out, tonight, at 7pm, at project noise, we are having a poetry slam.
we’ve got some great artists lined up:
dania farra * lisa bolte * ryan schweitzer (i must have spelled that wrong, for sure) * chelsey sutton * natalia weir, and, of course, re rahrich.
plus maybe more?
i don’t know. it’s free. go to it.
PS i am releasing my book, “alchemy,” at it.
can’t wait to see folks!

i got a special deal from the art department at bhs. i paid them and used their sweet printer to make nice quality prints. i may not have money, but i have influence, damnit.
the book is fifteen pages of literature, not counting the title page. there are eight poems. i’ll upload the table of contents / inside title page.
i ran a batch of twenty. i’m selling the first five copies with an added bonus: another title page, with the words “re rahrich” and “alchemy” stenciled and sprayed on. the first twenty books will be hand numbered, with a little thank you note.
this first edition of twenty will be my preliminary run. if all goes well, i will produce a bunch of these. if i can’t sell twenty easily, well…maybe then i’ll only do a few more, and take orders for extras.
this first batch will be released at the poetry slam, although a few advance copies will go out on friday the fifth to some pre-orderers.
get to the slam early for your chance to snag a special 1-5 copy. i can only hope these twenty will come sell quickly.
let me know if you want one of the special copies. i can be bribed.

i am currently in production!
my first collection of poetry will be available and sold as a set very soon. possibly by thursday, but it should be by the slam on saturday at the latest.
it will be a collection of eight poems, printed as full sheets, and sealed in a manilla envelope for your liking.
here are the poems up for consideration:
“fix”
mythology
the cigarette poem
tuition
being for you
fireworks
the satellite poem
the color of your eyes / or / you dear are a soft sweet joy
(or maybe both i don’t know yet)
i don’t expect you to know all of them. i hope you don’t, whoever you are reading this!
i am not sure what the collection is called just yet, but if you would like to make sure i make one for you, you can give me a call.
701.214.0150
or drop me a line at
rerahrich at gmail dot com.
just say, “hey rachel, make me one of your fancy book friends!”
and i’ll say
“alright, that’ll be ten dollars please.”
if you aren’t that confrontational, feel free to pick one up at the slam on saturday.
i hope you enjoy them thoroughly!

but yes, i did forget.
i’m in the middle of some updates. hopefully, some damn cool updates.
i plan on making this big poetry page for me, and making use my of my webhosting, and all that other junk.
some stuff to check out in the meantime:
http://701slam.wordpress.com. it’s my new baby.
i guess, actually, that’s all that’s new. let me know what you think of this theme. i don’t have my banner up yet, so, chill out about that, jesus, guys.
for my couple of readers, well, sorry it’s taken me so long. wow, the fifth of november…i suppose i got pretty far behind.
i’ll be using 701slam a lot to keep everything updated all the time.
until we meet again, dear reader(s?),

okay! guys!
i have been about as busy as can be!
quick roundup:
d70 is in, i am taking photos pretty much every day, and it is almost a given now that my camera will be at my side. in case godzilla attacks.
i posted photos from the oct. 2nd project noise show on flickr. more photos to come to flickr!
speaking of photography, and also of things to come, i am currently working on a very secret project, involving the clever use of the name re:con, ComicPress (google it), and a potentially awesome move to a sweet host. later down the road–buy this print buttons?
but chapbook button? only time will tell, comrades. over and out!
PS: whoa whoa whoa i forgot to tell y’alls!
